Muslim Prayer About Jews & Christians Contextualized by Senior Imams

Muslim Prayer About Jews & Christians Contextualized by Senior Imams

Not many non-Muslims understand the importance of the five daily prayers. Four senior Imams will contextualize the prayer in an effort to Dispel misinformation. The following is narrated by Eric Brazau.

Hello & welcome to another segment of “Islam Moving forward in Canada. We will learn about the prayer that is repeated 17 times a day within the 5 daily prayers.

We begin with Senior Imam Karim Abu Zaid who asked in a lecture >>“Why is this sura called the mother of the Quran … It was called mother of the Quran because all the meanings of the Quran are compiled in those seven verses the rest of the Quran came after to detail and explain it.”

The following is the translation of Surah (chapter) al-Fatihah as provided by Omar Subedar, Imam at Brampton, ON Makki Masjid,

[In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful]

All praise is for Allah, the Sustainer of every creation

The Most Merciful and the Ever Merciful

Master of the Day of Compensation

It is only You who we worship and only You Who we seek assistance from

Guide us to the straight path

The path of those you bestowed favours upon, not those who have incurred [Your] wrath and those who have deviated” >>>

Continuing our contextualized understand we look to the book Commentary on The Holy Quran” by Mirzā Ghulām Ahmad,  leader and the founder of the Ahmadiyya Movement: >>>

“All commentators are agreed that those who incurred Divine wrath and those who went astray are the Jews and Christians respectively … Those who incurred Divine displeasure are the Jews and those who went astray are the Christians.”>>>

Further elucidation comes from Edmonton Alberta Sahaba Mosque, guest speaker Imam Osman Haji Madad >>>

“Who are those who earned the wrath of Allah?… They are the Jews… Those who were cursed by Allah. Allah was angry at them and turned them into monkeys and pigs.” End Quote. Some text use the word Apes rather than `monkeys

This episode of “Islam Moving Forward in Canada” again demonstrates the importance of learning the context surrounding these sensitive issues. I recommend that you visiting your local mosque to obtain further clarification. Clarification will help you to help others dispel misinformation.

Thanks for watching – Islam Moving Forward in Canada. –  Till next time. Good bye.

Colorado Imam: Eesa (Jesus) Will Break the Cross – Islam is the Only Accepted Religion

Imam Karim Abuzaid is the imam of Colorado Muslim Society (CMS). He is a PhD candidate in Islamic Studies with the American Open University of Alexandria, VA. His studies are concentrated in Fundamentals of Islam and Quranic and Hadith Sciences. Imam Karim is a Hafiz Al-Qur’an, having committed the complete text of the Qur’an to memory. Below is a partial transcript of a lecture uploaded in October 2019

Now we know from the Hadith that when Prophet Eesa (Jesus) comes and rules out of Jerusalem, rules the world and establish the Sharia, and no other religion will be accepted but Islam. He’s going to break the cross kill the swine the pig. Now we know that there will be almost a thousand years of peace after that. Because Islam is in control there is peace and Earth now there will be good years.

al-Nawawi said: The correct view concerning this is that he will not accept it, and he will not accept anything from the kaafirs disbelievers but Islam. If any of them offer the jizyah that will not make him stop fighting them. Rather he will not accept anything but Islam or death. This is the view of Imam Abu Sulaymaan al-Khattaabi and other scholars

Texas Imam: “Christian Trinity Is Morally Repugnant”

After the beheading spree in France, spurred on by depiction of cartoons of Prophet Mohammad PBUH, Yasir Qadhi gave a sermon that touched on Shari’a law’s permissibility guide lines allowing for belief and practice of religions other than Islam.

The Islamic Ruling on Blasphemy (And Its Application In the Modern World) | Ask Shaykh YQ  •Premiered Nov 4, 2020

Yasir Qadhi is a Texas born Imam & PhD Yale scholar and world lecturer.

“We are not talking about a non-Muslim doing what is part of his faith or her faith. And that might include something that is derogatory for us for example, worshiping other than Allah. This is something that we find offensive, morally speaking. But they are allowed to do this in the privacy of their places of worship. There’s nothing that the Sharia will come between them and their rituals. For the Christian to claim that they believe in the trinity, well of course they believe in the trinity, and the Quran says that do not say trinity. Meaning do not say it morally but the Christian is allowed to say it politically, even in the lands of Islam. That if a Muslim was to ask him what do you believe and the Christian says I believe in the Trinity this is a factually correct statement that is morally repugnant.”

Islam is the religion of guidance, mercy and love, but there are people who force the Muslims to fight when they stand in the way of their conveying the guidance to mankind. The Muslims do not fight anyone until they have told them about the religion of Allaah and given them the choice between two things, either accepting Islam or, if they refuse Islam and keep their own religions, paying the Jizyah (tax) to the Muslims in return for protection. If they refuse both of these choices, then they are to be fought.

When we Muslims fight, it is for the sake of saving people from worshipping other people, and teaching them to worship the Lord of the Worlds, and bringing them out of the injustice of other religions to the justice of Islam, and freeing them from the constrictions of this world so that they may enjoy the bounty of this world and the Hereafter.

Muslim prayer recited at Toronto City Hall’s plaza

Muslim prayer recited at Toronto City Hall’s plaza

The Muslim Association of Canada (MAC) partners with the United Way Greater Toronto “to raise funding for anti-poverty initiatives to fight homelessness, social isolation, and hunger.”

On Friday September 20, 2019 both organizations held an “open community event” at Nathan Philips Square. The fundraising event included a Muslim Friday prayer at Toronto City Hall’s plaza. John Tory, Mayor of Toronto, Ahmed Hussen, Minister of immigration Daniel Zanotti, CEO and President of United Way of Greater Toronto, were in attendance.

The Muslim Friday prayer recited at Toronto City Hall’s plaza included the recitation of the first chapter of the Koran four times:

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

All praise is for Allah, the Sustainer of every creation

The Most Merciful and the Ever Merciful

Master of the Day of Compensation

It is only You who we worship and only You Who we seek assistance from

Guide us to the straight path

The path of those you bestowed favours upon, not those who have incurred [Your] wrath and those who have deviated

According to senior Canadian imams and scholars, “those who have incurred [Your] wrath” are the Jews, and “those who have deviated” are the Christians and people who behave like them.

On May 7, 2019 Toronto John Tory hosted an Iftar dinner (breaking the fast of Ramadan) in the Council Chambers with the attendance of Wael Shehab, the Imam of Masjid Toronto mosque, and Hamid Slimi, the Imam and founder of Sayeda Khadija Centre in Mississauga, Ontario.

An Imam chanted the adhan, the Muslim call to prayer:

Allah is the Greatest. (Recited four times)

I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship except Allah. (Recited twice)

I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah. (Recited twice)

Come to Prayer. (Recited twice)

Come to success/salvation. (Recited twice)

Allah is the Greatest.(Recited twice)

There is none worthy of worship except Allah.
