Are “Radical” Muslim the Mainstream of Islam?

Are “Radical” Muslim the Mainstream of Islam?

Mainstream Muslims Represent Islam. Of course they do! They do because a mainstream is not a distributary. This is obviously self explanatory. Why then does mainstream media ignore the voices of Muslims that are in the mainstream and promote the voices of those Muslims on the fringes?

SEE (Is CBC Suppressing Muslim Voices Concerning Taliban’s Rise to Power?)

Promoting the mainstream as the fringe and the fringe as the mainstream is either misinformation, propaganda or an honest mistake. Either way, the outcome is the same. That outcome is that the population is lulled into a false sense of hope that the “bad” Muslims, those against freedom of speech, religion, women’s rights and democracy, and in favour of stoning and amputations are the crazy fringe.

Mainstream Islam is what the Vast Majority of Muslims Believe Islam is?

85% to 90% of Muslims in the world identify as Sunni. All but 2% of the remining Muslims identify as Shia. Sunni and Shia Muslims represent at minimum 93 % of all Muslims. Therefore, what they believe Islam is, is what Islam is.

Is what the majority of Muslims believe correct? This question is itself a deception that enables mudding the waters. We could ask if the Muslim boy that blew up the Arana Grande concert was incorrect in his understanding. The same for the Bali night club bombers. How about San Bernardino California, the Pulse night club, French teacher Samuel Patty, Lee Rigby, Mumbai, the German Christmas Market, London Bridge, the Toronto 18, Via Rail and Churches blown up in Egypt and Sri Lanka could all be misunderstandings.

Unbelievable Hadith about Vomiting a Black Puppy is Irrational

Unbelievable Hadith about Vomiting a Black Puppy is Irrational

Unbelievable hadith about Vomiting a Black Puppy. Imam Shabbir Ally shares his opinion on hadith that seem to strange to believe. Below is a transcript of a portion of the interview uploaded to the YouTube channel Let the Quran Speak on March 2, 2017 titled Problematic Hadith: Jinn Possession | Dr. Shabir Ally

Interviewer

And what is gin possession?

Shabbir Ally

Imam Shabbir Allay

Well that’s the idea that these jinn some of them being evil creatures who will take possession of the human body, so it’s the ginn mind controls the body. The human mind is somehow left on the back burner. It is the job of The Exorcist to then remove that gin or evil spirit so that this human mind comes to take possession of his or her own body.

Interviewer

So what are some of the very few stories concerning possession?

Shabbir Ally

Let me share one of the Hadith so we get an idea. This is a Hadith collected from Ibn Abbas. A woman came with a son of hers and said, “O! messenger of Allah this son of mine is insane. He is seized by fits  every morning and ruins our lives.” Allah’s messenger wiped him and prayed for him the boy then vomited. A black puppy came out of his mouth and ran away. Reading, this obviously is in the realm of legendary materials. For a sane Muslim scholar to collect this and be putting it in his book it means that this scholar obviously subscribes to a mindset which is not ours.

Interviewer

So how would you argue with things that others say? Some will say very rational such as the gin or gin possession because we don’t see it so someone else it might seem irrational

Well, I take it even further and not only say that this Hadith, but the whole idea that Jinn possess is in fact irrational.

Distinguish Lawful & Unlawful Sex with Slave Girls in Islam

Distinguish Lawful & Unlawful Sex with Slave Girls in Islam

Lawful & Unlawful Sex with Slaves. May 2021, British Muslim supporters of Palestinian Islamic groups, Hamas & Islamic Jihad, have paraded in Jewish areas of London UK, publicly & loudly calling out “F&%K the Jews, we will rape you daughters”

Do these individuals represent the true message of Islam as conveyed by Prophet Mohammad PBUH? Is rape of non Muslim women permissible? I will share the contextualized context that will aid in dispelling misinformation that lead to misunderstanding of the TRUE Islam.

We will also learn about slave girls that are possessed by the Right hand of Muslim men, according to Islamic law.

Dr. Ewis El Nagar senior scholar with the Quebec Council of Imams (Conseil des Imams Québec) who in 2011 said

An important question still remains open. Are the [Quranic] verses dealing with ‘right hands possess’, abrogated or not? And is this ruling still applicable or not? And the answer is that [the Quranic verses dealing with ‘right hands possess’] are not abrogated and the ruling [‘right hands possess’] is applicable once the reason for it exists. Jihad returned, wars returned, then the ruling [‘right hands possess’] is not abrogated”>>>

Who are the women that are possessed by the right hand of Muslim men according to Islamic law?

For this answer we turn to the book modern commentary of the Quran explains  <<<“slaves or war captives who had polytheist husbands” >>>

In 2014 the practice of owning slave girls was again established in the Islamic State and parts of Africa. According to scholars, during the jihad, men are killed, the women are captured. Hence they become war booty. For the slave girl to become lawfully permissible in order to avoid the sin of adultery, the man holds his right hand over the women’s head. This is also done when transferring ownership of a slave girl.

Returning to Toronto Ontario we next learn from Imam & scholar Shabbir who was interviewed on Let the Quran Speak Sep 4th 2020

Hostess Aisha Khaja asked:

It seems to be a fact that in the Islamic classical law one can own a female slave. Can you talk to me about that?

Imam Shabbir Ally’s response

Quran has left it open people can own slaves. Slave girls were to be married off rather than simply taken by the owner against her will… In the aHadith and in classical Islamic tradition it is widely recognized that the slave owner would have the right to have sex with the girls his right hand posses through the booty of war.

So enjoy what you have gotten of booty in war, lawful and good”  And the Prophet PBBUH used to do this in his wars and his jihaad against the kuffaar, when he confiscated their property, wealth & women.

In conclusion

Islamic law teaches us that when Muslim men have obtained females sex slaves through lawful means such as war booty or transfer of ownership, sex is lawful & the female is obliged to comply regardless of her personal feeling. However sex with slave girls outside of the mentioned lawful parameters of Islamic law is considered Un-lawful

Islam a Religion of Peace or War?

Islam & the Future of Tolerance – In 2015 at Harvard University’s Institute of Politics Maajid Nawaz, Chairman of Quilliam, and Sam Harris, talk about their latest book. The books centers on the question is Islam a religion of Peace or War.

We could ask if ISIS, Al-Qaida, Boko-Haram, Hizb ut-Tahrir, Muslim Brotherhood are representatives of the TRUE Islam. The following will shed some clarity.

ICNA Canada is a charitable organization that has posted the following on their official Facebook page:

“It is incumbent on all Muslims to wage Jihad against them to wipe out Kufr (disbelief) and shirk (polytheism) and raise the banner of oneness of God everywhere… This Hadith strongly refutes the people who distort that Islam preaches defensive war only…”

Canadian Imam Abu Ameenha Bilal Philips said in a lecture:

“Islam is essentially a moral message. To implement that message it might require weapons. Primary goal of jihad is not to spill blood or acquire people’s land & property. But…”

Toronto Imam Shamir Ally said during an interview:

“ISIS published its manifesto. It cites verses of the Quran, the Hadith, rulings of Muslim scholars, and citations from tasveer, [commentary on the Quran], to justify their position. They are recruiting young people by giving them this ideology, peppered with all of these citations.”

Imam Yasir Qadhi in an interview speaking on the beheading crisis in France said:

In most Muslim countries of the world the armies of Islam came and then Islam spread after that.”

The following is from a highly influential web site Islam Q&A:

“The Muslims invaded India in 44 AH. They killed, took prisoners, captured booty. They entered Somnath and broke the greatest idol, captured its swords and necklaces. Then they returned safe and victorious.”

NCCM National Council of Muslims CEO Mustafa Farooq did say in a interview:

“How are we Muslims going to recreate Cordoba in Edmonton/Toronto/Montreal/ any Canadian city? We have a massive task ahead of us, but I really believe that it is one at which we can succeed, one in which we erase these artificial ‘nation-state‘ identities, and move together to pursue Jannah [paradise]”

Imam Abdool Hamid Of the Toronto Masjid and member of CCI Canadian Council of Imams said in a lecture

“Islam does not want to take over for the sake of taking over. Islam came to save the people. So, yes, changes have to be made. So it may seem from one perspective that Islam took over, so to speak.”

Toronto Imam; Some Hadith are Invented

Toronto Imam; Some Hadith are Invented

Toronto Imam Shabbir Ally is intervened in 2017 about hadith that predict future events.

I’m Aisha your host. In today’s segment we will continue our discussion on taking a balanced approach to Hadith, with a focus on Hadith relating to the future. How much of a critical lens should we apply towards these Hadith? As always let’s discuss with our expert Dr. Shabbir Ali.

Imam Shabbir Ally: For example, if somebody in the past noticed that children are not respecting their parents and we know that it is a Quranic prescription that we respect our parents. If they coined a statement showing that the Prophet PBUH said that the time will come when children will not respect their parents, obviously depicting this as a bad thing. So that is credited to the Prophet PBUH, even though he did not say it. But he could have said something like that. In any case, the Quran said it. If that is using our modern times it’s not difficult for anyone. But what happens is when we have things like Hadith depicting a black flag rising over Syria. We know that there was commotion among Muslims in that time following the death of the Prophet PBUH. Mu’awiya [The Second Fitna was a period of general political and military disorder and civil war that lasted 12 years.]  had set up his Caliphate in Syria, counter-Caliphate to that of Ali. And there are all kinds of hadiths about the pious people of Syria. Hadith praising people of different regions and having some relevance to the conflicts that arose among Muslims at that time. Then it is conceivable that some of these narratives are actually later inventions that were credited back to the Prophet PBUH as though he said these in advance… But what this means for me in sum is that it shows how Muslims could have developed a narrative about the prophet PBUH, crediting things back to him which he could not have said because if he gave all of these descriptions about the Dajal there is no way that the companions would have thought that this Jewish boy in Medina could have been the Dadjal.

So just as we briefly wrap up, what do you think this problematic Hadith relates to specifically. For example the Dadjal is impacting problems that we are seeing today, for example, radicalization?

Imam Shabbir Ally: Well, but it’s actually impacting us in two ways, One is that, when Muslims are thinking about these futuristic Hadith, they’re thinking that, okay, eventually something will be the solution to our problems. The Dajjal or Jesus will come back, kill the Dajjal, establish a reign of peace, and whatever. So we’re futuristic in our thinking. So we leave things lying as they are, thinking that doesn’t matter. If we have the problems now, we don’t have to solve them. Somebody else will come to solve our problems in the future, either the Maddi or Jesus, or in some other way. The second thing is this radicalization you’re talking about. Now when we require of Muslims to believe in both of these narratives, as the Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani tries to do. Then it’s too much for the modern mind. The modern mind goes two ways. Either the modern mind rejects this altogether and says okay I’ll be a Muslim in a superficial way but I won’t, you know, go deep into this because it’s obviously problematic to the core. The other reaction, the other fork in the road, is for someone to say, yes, it looks odd and it looks unbelievable, but I believe it. And this attitude leads to a kind of strictness, a radicalization, an attitude that says we are right and we know that we’re right. We don’t care who says that we are wrong. Their reasoning and their intelligence must be bad. So this traditionalism and radicalization now is something that leads the Muslims to think that we need to impose Islam on people because there’s no way people are going to believe in all of these. Everything that we know to be Islam is too convoluted, too self-contradictory and too fantastic, incredible. People are not going to believe in this if you just preach it to them. So when I am going to preach it to them, we’re just going to impose it on them. We are going to set up an Islamic state and force those who don’t want to believe to just simply conform to the dictates of the Islamic State. In the meantime, we will be the true believers. This is the radicalization that we’re seeing in modern times. It has many different causes and roots. This to me is one of the causes the kind of traditionalism and anti-intellectualism that has characterized the path that we choose to follow in the face of these contradictory narratives. Complete Video

Toronto Imam “Wife Licks Husbands Pus”

Toronto Imam “Wife Licks Husbands Pus”

Toronto Imam Shabbir Ally gave an interview about women’s’ role toward the husband. It was uploaded  In April of 2017.

For example you have Hadith that says if a man’s body were covered in sores from head to toe and his wife would you lick the pus out of the sores to cleanse them, then she still would not have fulfilled her duty to her husband.

Host: So just speaking on this one, I know that, well, I’ve heard of it as a weak narration, so is it possible that some of these problematic ideas, while there are many is there a common understanding that these are some of the weaker sources, or you think the challenge is that they exist and people still believe it

They are from the weaker resources, in fact, neither of these two are from bukhari and Muslim, which are the most authentic collections. But they are found in, for example, this last one about the prostration, it is found among the books which is known as Al-Sitta [six authentic books of Hadith]. They are viewed with some kind of expectation that they are authentic enough to be followed… The most recently, a celebrated Hadith scholar, Nasir Al-Din al-Albani, went through this Al-Jami’ as-Saghir by [Islamic scholar Jajaluddin from hundreds of years ago. Now he started to label the hadiths which ones are authentic and which ones are not, based on his expertise in testing these hadiths all over again, and this one comes out as authentic one… But you will find that to this day you have, for example, a website where people send their questions in. Muslims want to know about their belief in practice and the answers are given from an authentic perspective. Look, we are citing the Quran, we are citing the authentic Hadith. Never mind the weak Hadith here and this one is of the Hadith for example somebody asks what about this woman who is giving back talk to her husband. Well, the scholar comes  out lashing at this woman with Hadith like this. The one about the prostrating before your husband. I mean if that were at all allowable. Following off with this about licking the puss out of the sores.

Islam Q&A is an academic, educational, da‘wah website which aims to offer advice and academic answers based on evidence from religious texts in an adequate and easy-to-understand manner. These answers are supervised by Shaykh Muhammad Saalih al-Munajjid (may Allah preserve him).

Question: A wife is constantly arguing with her husband … What advice can you offer this couple, in particular the wife?

“’If a man were covered from head to foot with weeping sores oozing pus, and his wife were to come to him and lick his sores (to clean them), this would not fulfil the rights he has over her.’” (Reported by Imaam Ahmad, 12153; Saheeh al-Jaami’, 7725).
