Canadian Muslim Charity Takes CRA to Court

MAC is a registered charity and a national not-for-profit organization that operates a network of schools, mosques, student programs, community centers. It describes itself as the largest Muslim charity in Canada. It has a multimillion-dollar annual budget derived from tax deductible donations. MAC

In 2015, the Canada Revenue Agency commenced an audit of MAC covering the period from July 1, 2012, to June 30, 2015. On March 17, 2021, the CRA issued a 151-page Administrative Fairness Letter to MAC. According to the CRA, the purpose of the AFL was to describe the areas of MAC’s noncompliance with certain legislative and common law requirements applicable to registered charities.

The CRA stated that its preliminary audit findings established sufficient grounds to revoke the MAC’s charity registration under s. 168(1) of the Income Tax Act, and to impose penalties totaling $1,312,542.[1]

CRA provided:

over 500 pages of emails referred to in the AFL and collected from MAC during the audit process;

summary of emails it obtained from MAC that purportedly connected MAC with the Syrian Muslim Brotherhood

the CRA’s assessment of the personal online activities of some of MAC’s members;

financial information relating to schools operated by MAC, costs for MAC’s Eid celebrations, and information found on MAC’s T3010 registered charity information return

MAC’s position

MAC submits that the CRA has undertaken the audit in a manner that infringes the Charter. The main work product of the audit to date is the AFL, which, MAC argues, trades in common anti-Muslim stereotypes and manifests the very discriminatory lens through which the entire audit has been conducted. MAC submits that the CRA makes unproven and untested allegations (which may be retracted in the future) that MAC and certain of its members are affiliated with potential terrorist entities that are subject to foreign control or influence. Further, MAC argues that the CRA makes improper and erroneous assertions in the AFL that are demeaning to the practice of Islam.

Attorney General of Canada’s position

The Attorney General notes that, as part of its Charter challenge and in numerous statements to the media, MAC has made serious allegations about the conduct of the CRA. Court proceedings are presumptively open and the public and the media should be able to see not only MAC’s allegations and the parties’ positions, but also the full content of the AFL.

October 2022, the lawyer for six Canadian women and 13 children being held in Syrian camps says the Canadian federal government has agreed to help bring them home.

Lawyer Lawrence Greenspon says a “mutually acceptable” agreement was reached today with Ottawa to repatriate the 19 Canadians.

But hold on the Right-wing will ask!

Who says they are Canadians? These females betrayed Canada went to fight and copulate with ISIS a stated enemy of Western Civilization. These children are fathered by ISIS and born by traitorous women who forfeited their Canadian citizenship. So why are these children the responsibility of Canadian tax payers?

Could it be simply because Canadian Muslim lobby is successful in promoting the cause of Allah?

CBC: Family members of the women as well as four men, have been arguing in Federal Court that the government must arrange for their return, saying that refusing to do so violates the Charter of Rights and Freedoms.

CBC reporter asked Lawrence Greenspon: “Canadians will ask If these women forfeited their citizenship to fight with the enemy why then does Canada own them anything?” He responded “Because it is the Canadian thing to do”

The follow up question could have been – But how can it be the Canadian thing when such a circumstance as Canadian women flocking to copulate with a sworn enemy in a declared Muslim state never occurred in Canadian history.

Imam: AlMaghrib Institute Brainwashes Youth to be Terrorists

Shaykh Muhammad Alshareef, who spent several years living in Canada’s capital, died in Dubai on Thursday at the age of 47. Mohammad Alshareef was born in Winnipeg in 1975, In 2002 he founded AlMaghrib Institute. He did this using what he had learned from Western civilization. In the last 20 years, AlMaghrib has expanded its presence to 40 cities around the world, with the institute’s website saying they now have over 80,000 students. According to Shaykh Yasir Qadhi, AlMaghrib Institute, has graduated many hundreds of thousands of students. To many Muslim Alshareef Muhammad Almaghrib Institute is foundational to the establishment of Islam in the West.

Basically they are U.S. organizations that are operating in Canada. One is called AlMaghrib Institute, the other is called AlKauthar Institute.,,, They are the ones who brainwash these young kids in lectures….when you develop an association with them — then the brainwashing begins. The shoe bomber in the United States attended AlMaghrib Institute lectures.

These people are given a very free hand in our universities and colleges. They are organizing lectures and seminars, but nobody will put a sign up that says “I am recruiting for al Qaeda or ISIL or ISIS.” Nobody will come because they know they will be caught. The following is a complete lecture given in June of 2022 days after the death of Shaykh Muhammad Alshareef.

In 1994 I applied to the university of Medina, and when I got accepted there Muhammad Sharif was one year senior to me, so he was ahead of me by one year. And he was the first Arab Canadian American to graduate I was first you see American to graduate from the university of Medina, so we became very close friends, he became my mentor over there. We would meet almost every day …

And I remember vividly one day probably in 19 97 or something we were walking back to our respective colleges and he said to me you know I have a vision. When I go back to America I want to teach this knowledge to the people back there and I want to have an institute that will take that knowledge and somehow teach the youth of that generation of our general next generation..

We have to synthesize bring the techniques of the West and watere down the advanced academics of the East and merge it together.

If we want to preserve academic Islam – if we want to preserve the deen – then we need to find a way that will inspire our youth and teach them in a manner that perhaps our the elders won’t like, but we are not interested in what the elders. – And so he founded the Maghrib institute. And this was revolutionary at the time. He had so much pushback so much criticism.

He said we are going to hold classes not in the Masjid but in the colleges campuses. Where the youth go, where the students are. We are going to hire out academic halls. We’re going to make PowerPoint presentations, hand out professional presentation like they would in corporate. And he started charging for it. This was the biggest heresy at the time. “I’m not charging for profit!” It’s for the people to appreciate that they have to come on time and they are getting something that is worth more than they’re paying. For, the problem comes when things are free people take it for granted. He had the mentality of the western world We’re not going to produce scholars and Imams with weekend seminars. But our youth need to learn Islam. We have to make it entertaining and lively. Bringing quizzes for them to understand. Make PowerPoint slides. Make certain types of activities in the class. Make the class feel good to be Muslim. It was a little bit of as you call it edutainment, education and entertainment. Now traditionally the Ulama (senior scholars) balked.

But grace of God, the test of time, within a few years this institute changed the dynamics of dawa’h. We saw, I saw with my own eyes the very critics had to adapt these tactics. The very people who criticized began offering lessons in college campuses, charging, doing the same thing. Because numbers spoke success. There was nothing like AlMaghrib institute for at least a decade until the competitors came. And then others came along, and it’s good competition. In that interim period we had not hundreds, not thousands, not even tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands of Muslims across the Western world. They were studying intense lessons in Aqeedah, Fiqh in Adab in Islamic history (conquest link link) in Tasfeer. I myself with the blessings of Allah, personally, I myself have taught over 100,000 people. That’s 100,000 people in these, not 1 hour Holocaust no, two weekend seminars, full weekend seminars, intensive classes. You go into a lot of detail. 15 years I taught across the globe in Australia in Europe, across the country, in America, chapters opening up and for the first time our youth goes in college. Because we targeted colleges. Even though anybody could come. But it was college students the youth that we targeted we want them to come

I want our young people to love this deen (religion) to be feel proud of this deen

Quran Burning used to Accelerate Islamization of Norway

In Norway a since 2019 a group called “Stop Islamization of Norway” has been burning the Quran

An Imam has responded with an urgent appeal.

Brothers and sisters the last year a racist anti-Muslimism group have been desecrating and burning the Quran in front of the mosque in Norway. They are doing this to provoke a reaction from the Muslim community. So, that they can label Muslims as a violent terrorists and win support for their anti-Muslimism propaganda. The Norwegian government allows them to continue burning the Quran in front of the house of Allah in the name of freedom of speech.

Even during Ramadan they visited Muslim mosques and burned the Quran with the protection of the Norwegian police. For such a long time we Muslims have been feeling powerless because we can’t do anything when our religion our honor and the book that we hold so close to our heart are being humiliated and disgraced.

But things will now change, God willing, we have found a way to stop the desecration of the Quran. The extremist organization that is burning the Quran is called “Stop the Islamization of Norway”. They have come to our Masjid twice and hung two banners. One stating Islam is barbarism and unwanted in Norway the other banner labeling our Masjid “Oslo Jihad Center” insinuating Muslims are terrorists.

They are burning the Quran and hanging up these banners as a symbol of eradicating Islam in Norway. They are hoping to provoke a reaction from the Muslims so they can justify their hatred and win support for their anti-Muslim propaganda.

We will give them a reaction but not the one that they want to see. We will not do anything that would tarnish the image of Islam and create problems for the Muslims. Rather, every time they burn the Quran symbolizing the extinction of Islam we will react by raising huge amounts of funds to spread Islam and establish the symbols of Islam in Norway.

We have, praise be to Allah, purchased the largest mosque property in the capital of Norway to establish the biggest mosque and dawa’h center in this country. The despicable individual burning the Quran thinks that he can extinguish the light of Allah with his attacks. But we will use him, a useful idiot, to fund the spreading of the message of the Quran in Norway. Every time they burn the Quran we will raise tens of thousands of dollars and we will distribute 100 copies of the Quran to the people of Norway.

Warning Highly Offensive

Praise be to Allah they want to extinguish the light of the Allah with their mouth but Allah refuses and uses them to perfect his light even though disbelievers hate it. Islam will be established in Norway. We will make these anti-Muslims the very reason for Islam to flourish in the country. So brothers and sisters please donate to generously in the path of Allah, defending the honor our religion and earning Allah’s pleasure and marvelous reward.
